When measuring anything, it's only fair to put it in the context of cost. If you are willing to pay big money, you can experience coffee that is mind-blowing. So I don't give this 5 stars, because this isn't a super expensive, super-exclusive lot. But this coffee is about as much as you could hope to expect from a fairly priced Burundi. I've been enjoying this coffee from Nightjar for the last year and a half, and it really doesn't disappoint. Imagine raspberry and milk chocolate. Bright acidity nicely balanced out with silky long-lasting sweetness. I drink it as a filter, using the Kalita. 16g to 250ml. The water temperature around 87'C, and an overall brew time of around 3 mins. As the coffee gets a little older, the brightness fades a little, but the sweetness becomes more pronounced.
