New features in Version 3
Software Upgrades:
Low flow start
This function refers to the time slot from 0 until whatever the user sets. The Lelit Bianca V3’s paddle movements have been adjusted so less experienced users can easily operate the machine without having to pay attention to the extraction from start-to-finish.
Low flow final
Low flow final refers to the time from what the user sets until the end of espresso extraction.
Stand by mode
After 30 minutes of inactivity, the Lelit Bianca V3 will automatically go into stand-by mode. When this happens the on/off light will blink.
Warm up optimization
The newly designed PID on the Lelit Bianca V3 minimizes the time it takes for the machine to heat up.
Brewing temperature offset
This value is a sort of fourth value of the PID. It was introduced to correct the foreseen thermal error during brewing. When brewing a cup of coffee, the machine dispense water hence cold water is introduced in the hydraulic circuit and the boiler. Cold water messes up with the thermic of the machine. This is when the brew temperature offset is needed. In fact, during brewing, the software changes the set point by increasing or decreasing the temperature of the chosen offset – range values ± 25°C. In this way the user has an additional value he can use to personalise brewing profile.
Upgrades to the PID (LCC)
Programmable low flow times
We would like to underline the most significant improvement of the machine: the LOW FLOW. In Bianca V3 we automized the paddle movements which has two main advantages for LELIT users:
Four power modes
Always on
Available when the user disables stand-by mode and sleep mode. This means that the machine will always be ON.
Sleep mode
After a set time (from 40 to 540 minutes), the Lelit Bianca V3 brings the coffee boiler’s temperature down significantly and the steam boiler down to 0 degrees.
Eco-mode
Steam boiler is always OFF.
Stand-by mode
After 30 minutes of inactivity, the steam and coffee boilers and PID are turned OFF. This is a factory setting.
