Lelit Bianca Version 3

Paddle with patented design
As the paddle rotates, the water flows on the coffee changes as well, until the highest possible pressure is reached
LELIT electronic control system to manage all the machine setting parameters.
Movable water tank
Located externally to prevent water from heating up. It can be placed on the three sides.
Coffee Slide
The gradual inclination, the spout length and the open areas are designed to obtain the best possible result.
L58E group manometer
It measures the real extraction pressure for an accurate and precise control.
Double manometer
It allows to control both the steam boiler and water pressure during coffee extraction.
Cool touch wands
Ergonomic, anti-burn and easy to clean for a fulfilling user experience.

Updates of the Bianca V3

Lelit has made updates to the well-loved Bianca. In the newest version, The Lelit Bianca V3, users can expect quicker warm-up times, an electronic low flow mode that simulates profiles without manually moving the paddle, and four new power modes: always on, sleep mode, eco-mode, and stand-by mode.

What is it?

The Lelit Bianca is an Italian-designed and built dual boiler, rotary pump, E61 espresso machine with a built-in PID, and shot timer that can be direct plumbed or run on its built-in reservoir. It also features a unique flow control paddle.

Who is it for?

The home barista who is excited about diving deep into the world of espresso. You want something that’ll enable you to get the most out of every coffee by allowing you to control flow so you can ramp up the pressure, reduce channeling, and nail every extraction. You don’t need a commercial workhorse, but you certainly hope to serve groups of friends with cappuccinos and straight shots once you’ve perfected that new recipe.

New features in Version 3

Software Upgrades:

Low flow start

This function refers to the time slot from 0 until whatever the user sets. The Lelit Bianca V3’s paddle movements have been adjusted so less experienced users can easily operate the machine without having to pay attention to the extraction from start-to-finish.

Low flow final

Low flow final refers to the time from what the user sets until the end of espresso extraction.

Stand by mode

After 30 minutes of inactivity, the Lelit Bianca V3 will automatically go into stand-by mode. When this happens the on/off light will blink.

Warm up optimization

The newly designed PID on the Lelit Bianca V3 minimizes the time it takes for the machine to heat up.

Brewing temperature offset

This value is a sort of fourth value of the PID. It was introduced to correct the foreseen thermal error during brewing. When brewing a cup of coffee, the machine dispense water hence cold water is introduced in the hydraulic circuit and the boiler. Cold water messes up with the thermic of the machine. This is when the brew temperature offset is needed. In fact, during brewing, the software changes the set point by increasing or decreasing the temperature of the chosen offset – range values ± 25°C. In this way the user has an additional value he can use to personalise brewing profile.

Upgrades to the PID (LCC)

Programmable low flow times

We would like to underline the most significant improvement of the machine: the LOW FLOW. In Bianca V3 we automized the paddle movements which has two main advantages for LELIT users:

  • The machine can be easily operated also by less expert users, as they do not have to pay particular attention to the coffee brewing.
  • For the more expert users, this upgrade means that the pressure and flow profile can be precisely repeated multiple times. This does not mean that the paddle becomes useless, but it can be used in addition to the setting of Low flow.

Four power modes

Always on

Available when the user disables stand-by mode and sleep mode. This means that the machine will always be ON.

Sleep mode

After a set time (from 40 to 540 minutes), the Lelit Bianca V3 brings the coffee boiler’s temperature down significantly and the steam boiler down to 0 degrees.

Steam boiler is always OFF.

Stand-by mode

After 30 minutes of inactivity, the steam and coffee boilers and PID are turned OFF. This is a factory setting.
