Hands-free microfoam, at the temperature you chose
The Bambino Plus borrows its milk system from the top of the Sage range. Set a temperature and a texture, press the button, and the wand textures the jug for you and stops on its own: the same true microfoam as the Oracle Touch, from a machine under 20 cm wide.
Sage quotes at least one million micro bubbles per millilitre from the automatic wand, which is why the foam pours like paint.
Three seconds from cold, then a proper 54 mm shot
The ThermoJet heating system takes the Bambino Plus from off to ready in three seconds, and moves from espresso to steam without a wait. Underneath it is the same 54 mm portafilter, 18 g dose, low-pressure pre-infusion and 9 bar extraction that Sage builds into its bigger machines.
