HARIO Artisan Series – Imari Pottery Garden

Kaneko Sada, an industrialist from Imari, is determined to protect the traditional techniques of Arita ceramics. Aiming to produce high-quality Imari ceramics, Hire "Potter Sawada Chipotato" from Kyoto and establish Imari Pottery Garden. It pursues uniqueness based on its superior technology and design. Always maintaining an uncompromising stance, we continuously pursue the integration of tradition and modernity. The current president, Hideki Kaneko, established the showroom in 1993.

The work attracted a visit from the Deputy Director of the British Museum, who was deeply impressed by the potter's creations. He then became the "first Japanese ceramic artist to hold a solo exhibition at the British Museum" in 1997. This collaboration between HARIO and Imari Pottery Garden. The most representative "swimming carp pattern" and various paintings are painted on the V60 filter cup.
