Mahlkonig Sync Scale

Sync Scale - The Sync System: Master Consistency & Unlock Repeatable Coffee Quality

The Sync System is Mahlkonig’s advanced IoT ecosystem for professional coffee preparation, enabling seamless communication between sync-enabled grinders and sync-enabled espresso machines, or the Sync Scale.

Designed as a central platform for data collection and analysis, it provides insights into equipment usage, coffee consumption, and predictive grinder maintenance—helping retailers, managers, and roasters make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Our mission at Mahlkonig Grind-by-Sync grinder or E64 WS Espresso Home grinder is to deliver consistently high-quality coffee experiences with ease and efficiency. The Sync System takes this further by ensuring every espresso shot is reproducible across different baristas and locations.

By pairing a Mahlkonig with the Sync Scale through the Mahlkonig Sync App, the system wirelessly synchronizes grind settings to match brewing parameters—eliminating manual adjustments and guaranteeing excellent results every time.

Designed to Connect to Your Sync Grinder for Use with Any Espresso Machine

Unlock a seamless, intelligent coffee workflow with the Sync Scale—your gateway to a fully connected espresso ecosystem. This smart scale doesn't just weigh and time your shots; it sends the measured time via our Mahlkonig Cloud to the Grind-by-Sync grinder.

Together, they create a fully automated feedback loop: the Sync Scale times the shot, and the Grind-by-Sync grinder fine-tunes the burr distance automatically. The result? Perfectly dialed-in espresso recipes, effortlessly maintained with every shot.

The Mahlkonig Sync Digital Ecosystem

The Sync digital ecosystem consists of the Mahlkonig Sync Mobile Application and Desktop Application. The mobile app allows for easy pairing of the grinder to the Wifi connected machine or device and enables automatic software updates. The desktop app enables users to view operational data through a reporting dashboard, and managers can define coffee recipes per grinder. Both apps allow for remote and local data access.
