Steel flat burrs, tuned for clarity in the cup
The Forte BG is the Forte AP's filter-only sibling: the same all-metal body and touchscreen, fitted with 54 mm steel flat burrs that Baratza chooses for high-clarity brews. It is built for the slow bar, the batch brewer and the roastery cupping table.

Weigh every dose, from a single V60 to a batch brew
A built-in scale under the grounds bin doses to a tenth of a gram from 5 to 120 g, so a 15 g pour-over and a 60 g batch are both one press. A timer to a tenth of a second and a manual mode cover everything else.
- Weight mode: three presets, factory set to 15, 30 and 60 g, adjustable in 0.1 g steps
- Time mode: three presets, factory set to 10, 15 and 30 s, adjustable in 0.1 s steps
- Manual mode with a live weight readout, useful for double-checking a pre-weighed dose
- Pause and resume mid-dose with the start button
- Tare by holding the weight icon; the icon flashes when the bin has moved
- Error codes for over-target, no flow, overload and scale signal loss
- Sleep mode after three minutes; tap the screen to wake
- Scale calibration with a 200 g weight, and a programmable weight offset

Commercial-grade, and serviceable on the bar
The Forte shares the Vario's 13 by 18 cm footprint, so it fits beside a batch brewer or on a cupping table, and everything a busy bar wears out is a tool or a genuine part away.

A grey-import grinder looks identical in a listing. It stops looking identical the day a belt, burr set or load cell needs replacing on a working bar. Every Baratza we sell comes through BRG, the brand's authorised UAE distributor, with a 2-year warranty and genuine parts.

Complete the setup
Chosen for the Forte BG specifically. A brew grinder wants a brewing scale beside it, a machine for the other half of the bar, and a brush for the clean a working grinder needs.

The compact commercial one-group for the espresso side of a bar where the Forte BG runs the filter side.

The Forte weighs the dose; the Pearl weighs the brew, with a flow-rate display for consistent pour-overs on the slow bar.

For the espresso grinder next to it; the BG itself doses into its bin.

The genuine Baratza stiff brush for the burr clean a working grinder needs more often than a home one.
