Three presets, a timer to the tenth, and a holder for your portafilter
The Vario+ doses by time. Press a preset, press start, and the display counts down to zero while the PortaHolder keeps your hands free. It is the simplest way to get the same dose every morning without a scale on the counter.
- Three programmable time presets, factory set to 10, 15 and 30 seconds
- Timer adjustable in 0.1 second steps, saved even when unplugged
- Manual mode counts up to a 60 second maximum for batch grinding
- PortaHolder installed from the box; arms adjust up or down to fit your portafilter

A quiet 130 W motor and burrs built for a decade
A 130 W motor turns the burrs at 1,350 rpm, slower than the Sette and quieter with it. Baratza says the replaceable burrs generally last around ten years of standard home use, and the tools to reach them come in the box.
